Blind Wine Tasting
Six glasses, no labels. One grape, four regions. You guess, discuss, and learn. And laugh — because almost everyone gets it wrong.

How it works
You get six glasses. No labels. All wines are the same grape — but from four different regions. Gamay from Beaujolais, the Loire, Savoie, and Switzerland. Or Pinot Noir from Burgundy, Alsace, Jura, and Germany.
Your job: find the common thread. What makes Gamay taste like Gamay regardless of terroir? The acidity? The fruit? The tannin structure? You talk with the person next to you, compare notes, disagree — and that's how you learn.
Dominika listens, doesn't hint. At the end she reveals everything — and suddenly it all clicks. Three small plates from Tomek arrive between flights.
Why blind?
Because labels lie. Not literally — but your brain makes decisions before you even start drinking. You see "Burgundy" and expect something specific. You see a price and judge the wine before tasting it.
Without a label, you taste honestly. Your palate works unfiltered. And it turns out that a 20 EUR wine from Jura can be more interesting than a 75 EUR wine from Burgundy. Or not. But at least you're judging for yourself.
Who is this for?
Beginners — you don't need to know anything. The blind format IS the teacher. Half the guests get 2 out of 6 right. That's why it's fun.
Couples — guessing together is a better evening than another restaurant with a menu. You argue about whether glass three has more raspberry or cherry — and that's romantic in its own way.
Solo visitors — come alone. You'll meet people who enjoy wine, food, and good conversation. It's not speed dating — it's an evening at a shared table where wine is the excuse to talk.
Wine enthusiasts — test yourself. Can you really tell Gamay from Pinot Noir? Savagnin from Chardonnay? Blind tasting is brutally honest.

After the tasting
Most people stay. They order another glass — this time knowing what they like. Some buy a bottle to take home. Others come back in two weeks. Some book a private tasting for their friends.
A blind tasting is a beginning. After one, wine tastes different — because you start understanding what you're drinking.

Can I come alone?
